My inspiration comes both from nature and anthropology. Trends in my art and design work often comes from exploring an obsession. My drawings, watercolors, mandalas, monoprints, ceramics and quilts have all grown out of a deep interest in the design and process of each separate media. Play and spontaneity are an important part of my artmaking. Every so often I switch up my focus. Right now I am exploring quilt design and construction. Before that it was ceramics and before that monoprinting and watercolor. You can see themes of nature and geometric design through all all mediums.

I hope you enjoy the fruits of my exploration!

I graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2009 and from Tufts University in Affiliation with the School of the Museum  of Fine Arts, Boston with a Masters in Arts in Teaching with a focus on Art Education in 2010.
